  1. A writer’s life emulates the voyage you describe, in your case coming to meaning with “plain” sailing – your take on truth as simple and clear. Aptly put here.

  2. What a great form and it does have a wave-like resonance – repetitions but with variations.
    I very much agree about using ordinary words – although I am guilty of using the word picayune for fun and alliteration in my boat poem…
