Yesterday an eagle
flew overhead
trailing a slender
branch from her
talons
.
Signalling spring
time to think about
nests and eggs
time to fall
in love
.
Time to watch
life grow
time to
bask in the sun
and be thankful
.

This is utterly lovely.

Aw thanks! The beauty of nature constantly surprises me and offers authentic cause for gratitude. We need this hope to carry on and love the Earth the way it needs to be loved.

A wonderful gift indeed, Carys. No eagles around here, but I feel the same every time I see a heron or a woodpecker. I’m grateful for any sign of spring!

Yes, I think everyone can zip in their local wildlife- could be a crow, a fox or a seagull- all applicants welcome 😉
